Sacred Heart Hospital’s Sleep Disorder Center is proud to be fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).  This designation is an indicator to our patients and referring physicians that we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care.  An AASM accreditation is the gold standard by which patients, physicians, companies, and the public evaluate sleep disorder centers.  To receive this accreditation our Sleep Disorder Center must adhere to strict practice parameters and quality assurance standards.  We meet the AASM’s high standards with everything from our policy and procedure manual and staff credentials, to our education and quality assurance measures, to the cleanliness of our rooms.  The AASM regularly reviews and revises their standards for accreditation, thereby ensuring that we are meeting the needs of our patients and referring physicians.
