Parish Nursing Program - Outreach Events
Bridging the Gap Dinner/Dance Fundraiser, May 9, 2008, 6:30-11pm at Best Western, Bethlehem. $40.00/person. This is the third annual fundraiser given by the Parish Nursing/Community Outreach Department in order to provide money, unavailable elsewhere in the community, for doctor visits, dental visits, medications, transportation, and general access to care, for the medically underserved and indigent in our community. Susan G. Komen and Sacred Heart Hospital’s Parish Nursing/Community Outreach Department events:
- Latinas United for the Cure bus trip to Philadelphia on March 15, 2008. Leaves the Sigal Center Parking lot at corner of 5th and Chew at 6:30am. Will return 4pm. Space limited to first 100 persons who call Judy at 610-663-3291. The trip is free, a light breakfast and full lunch are provided.
- Lunch and Learn: “Breast Cancer Awareness and Updates”, keynote speaker, Dr. Bonnie Osterwald. Selected Health Screenings will start at 10am, speaker at 11:30am, lunch at 12:45pm. A $15 gift card will be given to all attendees in addition to free parking and lunch. Call Judy @ 610-663-3291 to RSVP.
