Adult Behavioral Medicine
The Adult Psychiatric Unit at Sacred Heart Hospital is a 20-bed
unit dedicated to the care, education, and recovery of adults with psychiatric
disorders, such as major depression, anxiety, bipolar illness and other
mental health disorders.

team approach that will meet their specific mental and physical health
care needs.
Skilled psychiatric and health professional are trained to assist patients
in their self-discovery, learning, and recovery process through:

Admissions Criteria
- The patient must be 18 years of age or older
- The patient must be able to participate in unit activities.
- The patient must be diagnosed with an acute psychiatric disorder.
- Each patient must be medically cleared before admission.
