Sacred Heart Hospital Inpatient Psychiatric services recognize
the unique needs of the older adult and the adult person who is experiencing
a mental health disorder. Our units are dedicated to the care, education,
and recovery of adults with psychiatric disorders, such as major depression,
anxiety, bipolar illness, and other mental health disorders.
We focus on conveying respect, dignity, individuality, clear communication,
support, encouragement, and a positive attitude all within a therapeutic
and confidential environment.
Our goal is to help patients reach their optimal level of health.
Sacred Heart Hospital’s Inpatient Psychiatric Department is a
proud member of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI). NAMI
is a nonprofit organization providing advocacy, support groups, and education
for consumers, families, and friends of people with severe mental illnesses.
The National Alliance for the Mentally Ill hosts support group meetings
every last Tuesday of the month at Sacred Heart Hospital.
