Visiting Hours

Patient Units
General visiting hours: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Patients may have up to 2 visitors at any one time. For safety reasons, children under 12 may be permitted to visit in special situations with permission of the nurse in charge and must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors are reminded that they must help us maintain a quiet, smoke-free environment.

Special Units
Visitors are limited to immediate family only. Patients may have only 2 visitors at any one time. Special visiting requests may be arranged with the Unit Director or Charge Nurse.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., 7 days/week

Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., 7 days/week

Short Procedure Unit (SPU)
5:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. (Suggest one (1) visitor)

Adult Psychiatric Unit (APU)
Two (2) visitors may be allowed to visit any one patient at a time. Exceptions with prior approval. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors on the APU under 18 require a physician’s order. Visitors will not be allowed to bring personal bags onto the unit. Purses are subject to search.
Monday – Friday 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Older Adult Behavioral Medicine Center (OABMC)
Two (2) visitors may be allowed to visit any one patient at a time. Exceptions with prior approval. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Visitors on the OABMC under 18 require a physician’s order. Visitors will not be allowed to bring personal bags onto the unit. Purses are subject to search.
Monday – Friday 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Monday – Friday 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The Birth Place
This is a secured unit. Children are permitted into the unit as long as they are free of infection and are supervised by an adult. The father of the infant may stay over for one (1) night. Additional nights must be approved by the nursing staff.
Father/Support person: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Grandparents/siblings: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
General visiting: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
