Care for the Uninsured or Underinsured
Sacred Heart HealthCare System provides high quality medical care for all people, regardless of ability to pay. Financial assistance is available for medically necessary treatments or procedures if you have no health insurance or have limited or partial coverage. Sacred Heart’s Patient Account Office team is here to help.
If you are uninsured or underinsured and are in need of inpatient hospital care, Sacred Heart HealthCare System will work in conjunction with Adreima at no cost to you. Adreima is a free service provided for patients who have been admitted to Sacred Heart Hospital as an inpatient and who are uninsured or underinsured. Adreima has an office on Sacred Heart Hospital’s campus.
Adreima works with most hospitals in Pennsylvania including Sacred Heart HealthCare System. Adreima specializes in obtaining Medical Assistance compensation for patient care. Adreima will work with you to apply for Medical Assistance and coordinate the billing for your care. If a face-to-face meeting with your local County Assistance Office is required to obtain Medical Assistance, Adreima will represent admitted patients to advocate for their obtaining Medical Assistance coverage.
If you are uninsured or underinsured and are in need of outpatient health care services, such as blood work or physical therapy, Sacred Heart HealthCare System’s Patient Account Office will help you apply for Medical Assistance. Your eligibility for Medical Assistance will be determined by your local County Assistance Office.
