Financial Assistance Information for Patients
Sacred Heart HealthCare System is committed to providing medically necessary and emergent healthcare to those in need, regardless of their ability to pay. Your financial circumstances will not affect the care you require and all patients are treated with dignity and respect.
Financial assistance is available for all medically necessary and emergent care patients based on your eligibility. Patients may apply for financial assistance at any time – before, during, or after their care. If you have no health insurance, limited health insurance benefits, or personal financial circumstances that limit your ability to pay, you may be eligible for financial assistance. Uninsured patients are required to apply for Pennsylvania Medical Assistance or enroll in the Federal or State Health Insurance Exchange. Sacred Heart will guide patients through the application process as necessary.
Approval of financial assistance is determined by Sacred Heart’s policy guidelines, which are explained in the documents below. If you do not qualify for financial assistance but believe you have special circumstances, you can request a review by our Financial Counselor who can be reached at 610-776-5905.
