Appoints Peters as Chairman of the Board
ALLENTOWN, PA -- At the annual board meeting on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, Sacred Heart HealthCare System Board of Directors announced the appointment of Brent L. Peters as Chairman of the Board for both the Hospital Board of Directors and the HealthCare System Board of Directors. Mr. Brent L. Peters serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and a Board Director of Harleysville National Corporation. He is President of the East Penn Bank Division of Harleysville National Bank (HNB).

Also appointed as First Vice Chairman of Sacred Heart HealthCare System Board of Directors is Thomas Scalici. Scalici serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cornerstone Institutional Investors, Inc. Robert Zentz, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fellowship Community, was elected as First Vice Chairman of the Sacred Heart Hospital Board of Directors.
