Sacred Heart HealthCare System Welcomes Tamam Habib, M.D.
ALLENTOWN, PA - Sacred Heart Healthcare System is pleased to announce that Tamam Habib, M.D. has joined the organization as a Hematologist/Oncologist. With the addition of Dr. Habib, Sacred Heart continues to grow the services of Oncology to address the needs of its patients and the community which it serves.
Dr. Habib received his medical degree at the University of Hamburg, School of Medicine in Germany. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Pinnacle Health Hospital in Harrisburg, PA, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Habib then went on to complete his fellowship through Penn State University at Hershey Medical Center.
Dr. Habib worked in private practice as a Hematology Oncologist in Reading, PA and at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New Hampshire. Dr. Habib has experience in treating and developing care plans for all types of cancer.
Dr. Habib is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology. He has been published in various fields of research and studies and he has presented at national and regional conferences. Dr. Habib speaks fluent Arabic and German. He enjoys the outdoors and physical fitness.
