Types of Wounds
Many types of wounds may benefit from wound care and/or hyperbaric oxygen therapy. At the Comprehensive Wound Healing Center, we treat diabetic, ischemic, venous stasis, surgical, traumatic, and other wounds that resist healing. The types of wounds we treat may include:
- Acute and chronic wounds
- Diabetic wounds of the lower extremities (legs and feet)
- Post-radiation tissue injury
- Crush injuries/compartment syndrome and other acute traumatic ischemias
- Venous stasis or arterial-insufficiency ulcers
- Compromised grafts and flaps
- Infected wounds
- Pressure ulcers
- Necrotizing soft-tissue infections
- Carbon monoxide poisoning

- Cancer-related wounds
- Osteomyelitis
