What to Expect - Appointments, Insurance

appointments During the initial visit, you will undergo a comprehensive screening by a member of our expert rehabilitation team. The initial visit is entirely tailored to each individual and his/her presenting concerns. The examination process usually takes one hour and allows our staff to collect the information necessary to create an individualized plan of care to meet your goals. Follow-up care and recommendations will be discussed after this initial visit.

Together, you and the therapist will decide on the best course of treatment. In most cases, you will be seen by the same therapist throughout the course of treatment. We will also teach you how to maintain the progress they have gained during your course of treatment.

Prior to Your First Appointment
In order to serve you better, we ask that you please obtain a prescription prior to scheduling your first appointment. Occasionally, referrals and/or preauthorizations are needed prior to this initial visit. If you need a referral or preauthorization from your doctor for therapy services, please inform the doctor’s office in advance of the appointment with us. If you are not sure if you need a referral or authorization, please call the number on the back of your insurance card. You can reach our office any time at the numbers provided. We would be happy to assist you in any way possible.
