The Neurobehavioral Sciences Department at Sacred Heart HealthCare System includes Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry.
Neurology is the study, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the nervous system which includes the brain, spinal cord, and the peripheral nerve system. Neurologists treat patients who have a variety of neurological diseases.
Sacred Heart HealthCare System's Memory Disorders Center provides diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment for patients with dementia and other memory disorders.

Our board certified neurologists diagnose, treat, and manage a wide variety of neurological conditions such as:
- Balance problems
- Movement disorders
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
- Peripheral nerve and muscle diseases
- Seizure disorders
- Transient ischemic attack (TIA, mini-stroke)
To receive outpatient care from the Neurology Department at Sacred Heart HealthCare System, all patients must obtain a referral from their primary care physician.
