Events and seminars are held in Sacred Heart Hospital’s second-floor conference center unless otherwise noted. Free parking is available for participants in both the Fifth Street and Chew Street parking decks. Click on the below links to view the events.
Hospital Tours

Radiology and BirthPlace
Hospital tours are available for schools and small groups upon request. To best accommodate participating staff members, tours are typically scheduled for Wednesday mornings and run one hour in length. Tours include a visit to the Radiology Department and The Birth Place. Before the tour begins, the children first assemble in the 2nd Floor Conference Center, where belongings such as jackets and sweaters can be left for the remainder of the visit. Here, students are given surgical masks or caps to wear during their visit. After visiting each area, the group meets again in the Conference Center for a souvenir to conclude the tour. Sacred Heart's Center for Bariatric and General Surgery offers free informational seminars about bariatric surgery on a regular basis. Our seminars are the best way for you to learn more about the surgical options in a relaxed environment. Attendees can ask questions and receive answers directly from the surgeons and the Bariatric Services team.

Lehigh County Integrated Family Services Youth/Parent Advisory Board
Third Monday of every month; 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Second-floor Conference Center
The Integrated Children's Service Plan parent/youth advisory committee consists of parents, guardians, and youth working in partnership with the county to ensure quality services for youth and their families using county-funded services. The purpose of the committee is to provide the county with feedback on what services parents/youth feel are working, what services need enhancements, and additional services families feel might be helpful. Young adults and parents/guardians advisory committee members work in a collaborative partnership with county service providers by sharing experiences and ideas on how services might better meet the needs of children, youth and their families. Alzheimer's Support Group

This informational support group is for families and caregivers of those with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Members learn more about Alzheimer's disease and their feelings about the changes dementia has made in their daily lives.
