Hi All:

For those of you who were at the meeting last night; there was a gentleman that had been talking about only being a few months post-op and being bored with food Hehe

Anyhow, I know I posted this before, someone inside another post, but if you have the extra time/money, but the book "Recipes for Life After Weight Loss Surgery".  Off the top of my head, I'm not sure who it's written by.

But there are a lot of good recipes in the book.  So far I've only tried one, but it was a good one.  It was making mini pizzas that had lots of protein!!

I know we stopped at Borders by Sears on McArther Road last night; looking for it, and they didn' have it. I ordered mine online through Amazon.com.

At another support group meeting, another book called "Eating Light after Weight Loss Surgery" was suggested.  I haven't tried that out at all though.

But hey, give it a shot.  We all probably wasted a lot of money over the years, on pills & drinks & whatever else was on the marke that "guaranteed" weight loss.  Spend a few more bucks and get this book so you're not bored with food choices!!!!

Hope this helps!!!!

One day at a time, one moment at a time, keep getting up when we fall and trying to move one foot forward... even if it seems we are not going anywhere.... this journey is sure not for the faint of heart or those who have "give-up-itiveness" but we must all have "stic-to-itiveness"
