being a patient of Dr. RUSSO and  on medicare i will be using Sacred Heart for my RNY and was wondering if we will have private rooms or if we will share? Looks like maybe an early October surgery if all goes well. At last Dr visit found i have to have my gallbladder removed first.Thought it could of been done at same time but guess not just have to suck it up and hope no scars form and make my Rny more difficultSad

Coalcracker, Good luck with your surgery in October.  Take things one at a time.  All will be well.  I do not know about the rooms at Sacred Heart Hospital because I had my bariatric surgery with Dr. Holland at St. Luke's.  Wishing you wellness.

Dr. Russo did my surgery 6/5. Yes you will have a private room. Good luck on your journey!

I did have several issues. I actually just came home tonight from the hospital again. No matter how much you research or how many support groups you go to everyone is different.

There's no way I'd take it back! Oh and nobody believes how tiny my incisions are....

Yes, the incisions are tiny.  In fact, in a few years, the incisions disappear.  I can barely see only one of my 5 incisions.  Interesting.
