Staff,

Would it be possible that when a recent newsletter is "released" that someone post a link on the forum letting us know?

I frequent this forum, but I have the sign-in/log-on page bookmarked, so I rarely ever go on the actual shh.org website to even know that a newsletter may have been available to view.

It was only because of Nadia's post that I new the information was available.

I try to stay as connected as possible on the forum & meetings & such.

Sorry to be a pain - as I stated in my other post, I know the staff is very busy - but this forum is a very vital part of the whole bariatric process/journey & I hate to see it fall by the wayside.  Lots of information is not being posted or being shared that could be.

I know some staff on here sign in ocassionally, but it would be awesome to see someone from the office signing on once a day or at least once every few days - rather than weeks - just to check in & post information & such.  Just my opinion Smile

One day at a time, one moment at a time, keep getting up when we fall and trying to move one foot forward... even if it seems we are not going anywhere.... this journey is sure not for the faint of heart or those who have "give-up-itiveness" but we must all have "stic-to-itiveness"

Meg,

Here is the link to the newsletter:

 http://www.shh.org/media/bariatrics-newsletter-summer-2011.pdf

It can also be found on the shh.org website. We try to get the newsletters out

quarterly but I would be happy to post the link from here on out if that would be

easier.  Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention!

Have a great rest of your week!

Meghan

We all want to be connected because attendance at support group meetings in addition to our adherence to the pouch rules and daily exercise will make us successful in our continual weight loss efforts.  We benefit by attending support group.  I personally would really like to see our support group grow.  We all can make it happen through teamwork

Thanks, Meghan.  I did go to the shh.org website & found the link & posted it under Nadia's link right after (or before) I made this post.

Even if you don't post the actual link on here; if you could at least maybe let us know when it becomes avail for viewing; that would be great.

Smile
