So it has been a crazy week or so. Tongue

Last week, I got on my son's bike a couple of times...it was my first time on a real moving bike in over 20 years.  Total insanity, and I wish we would have taken some pictures.  I road about a half a mile the first day, and I am not sure how far the 2nd time.  I was so afraid to get any speed but I will get there...once the kids are back at school I plan on taking  his bike for a spin regularly.  We will see how that pans out!

Today, I lost my dang mind and tried out my son's roller blades!  w00t  It was laughable to say the least.  When I was a kid (under 10 or so...so again over 20 years as I am 33 years old now) I was an avid roller skater so I thought the roller blades wouldn't be too bad.  Am I an idiot or what!?!  Crying  At least I didn't fall...and he was amazed that I even tried.

Its all good...I simply can't believe the things I am doing.

Next "mini" goal on my way to my current ultimate goal of completing an Olympic Triathlon- another 5K TBA with a finish goal of under 40min!

That's awesome Heather. I love bike riding. I don't think that I am daring enough to try rollerblades. I can roller skate, and ice skate. But I have been doing those for years. I don't have the guts to try rollerblading to afraid that I will fall and land on my knee.

For me, tennis was the new thing.  I started last year.  We haven't been out much this year, but we get out there once in awhile.  I also did start using HealthWorks at the Carbon Plaza Mall.  They have a good gym there.

I go to a fitness bootcamp 3x a week and they are amazing.. the workout is rough, but well worth it. I told the people there my history and about the surgery... and everyone has been nothing but amazingly supportive....
