Just had my 1 year post op appointment.  When I started this journey I was a borderline type II diabetic, I had sleep apnea and I had pain in my joints.  I can say all of these symptoms are gone.  My BP is amazing, my blood levels are all spot on (thanks to all the supplements I take).  My clothing sizes are extremely different going from a 48 pant to a 34.  My shirts went from a XXXL to a L.  My athletic pants went from a XXL to a M.  Thus far I have gone from 364 at my heaviest to 203 at my evaluation.  My BMI went from 49.4 to 27.5 ( which according to the chart still says I am overweight..... thoughts on the specs on the chart anyone? )  I am extremely active at the gym almost every day.  A year and a half ago I made a decision to change my life and quit fighting the battle as I had for the previous 22 years and use a better tool to get the effects I wanted and deserved.  Thank you Dr. Holland.  Hope to see you all at support group, but if I don't please have a great holiday season and think about all the blessings you have.
