Congratulations on your bariatric surgery date in 3 weeks, Gretchen Hill!  Welcome to the bariatric forum.  I had the RNY on 6-30-2009 with Dr. Holland.  I am not a sleever, but I know of many who are and are successful in their weight loss.

Thank you Nadia. I'm so excited but also nervous on the result. But I know I can do it and hopefully for the success surgery.BigGrin

The bariatric surgery is just the beginning.  We also have to make lifestyle changes for the rest of our lives.  For example, daily exercise is a must if we want to be successful in the future.  Also, following the rules about not eating and drinking at the same time is vital to our success.  If we put our minds to it,  it can be done!

Congratulations.  I had the sleeve done 3 months ago and have lost 70 pounds so far.  I'm happy to answer any questions you have.

Good Luck!!
