I am about 2 1/2 weeks out and have not had the best experiences but wouldn't change it for anything. At the beginning of my journey I was 289lbs and today am 250lbs.

My question is....

Sometimes I feel great and others I feel like I am exhausted and hurt all over. Was low on potassium but started taking a supplement for it. Has anyone had the same symptoms?

Are you taking all of your required vitamins and supplements?

Yes. All my vitamins. I even get a pain that even goes into my breast. On a good note I've lost over 30 pounds in almost 3 weeks!

A 30 pound weight loss is terrific!!!  Sometimes inflammation inside the body can cause the body to ache.  Things that contribute to inflammation are salt, sugar, lack of exercise, not enough movement, MSG, other factors as well.

I had inflammation until I lost 50 pounds and then my body hurt no more!!!  Hang in there.  Exercise daily.  Good things will come to you.

KC I am17 months out and still on potassium supplements.  I had an absolutely horrible time out of the gate and was in and out of the hospital a couple time last year due to not feeling well, not being able to eat, etc., had a marginal ulcer and still have some stomach issues but I'm doing much better.  I have some pain in my shoulders now but probably due to not getting enough protein, tho I try to eat as much protein as I can, I just am not able to eat much during the day as maybe I should be this far out.

I cannot say what your pain would be but call the drs if it persists, there may be some underlying issues that need to be looked at and the drs and staff are there for us.  We don't just support each other, they support us as well and we are family!!!

I started at 253 and am now down to 128 (most days) but can fluctuate between 127 and 129.  I do not want to lose anymore so I'm doing as much as I can to ensure I don't lose anymore weight.

Don't be worried about calling the drs, they are the professionals, we can support you, for sure, and sharing experiences are good.  I know my body didn't do what it was suppose to but last year when I had the surgery my dad was actively dying of liver cancer so there was a great deal of stress going around and I do not apparently deal with stress as well as I thought I did Hehe

But again, if you want to talk more, you can send me a private email: or if you are on facebook we can connect there too

Sorry I didn't see this earlier, I have been so busy lately and haven't had a chance to get online as much as I had been...

Good luck!!
