Parish Nursing Events

Basic Parish Nurse Preparation Education, formerly known as Fundamentals of Parish/Faith Community Nursing Practice: Education classes* for the Parish Nurse are back at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Fundamentals/Basic I/II: March 19th and March 26th, 2012. Session III is April 14th. Session IV is April 28th.

Session V is May 12th. The online session will be put online after the 5th session is completed.

All the classes will be held at Sacred Heart Hospital in the Conference Center. Meals and educational materials are included. The prices have not gone up. The brochure will be available shortly. Catholic Charities, Diocese of Allentown, is pleased to offer "Topics in Bereavement Outreach." The conference will provide practical tips for working with individuals and families who are grieving. The presentation will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 9am- 3:30pm at Holy Family Manor, 1200 Spring St., Bethlehem, PA. Social Workers and Nurses* have each been approved for 5 continuing education units.
